Sasha Bakhru's Background

An engineering science graduate student who has studied biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, and materials science and engineering, Sasha Bakhru has studied these subjects in an effort to gain a fundamental understanding of materials design, fabrication, and characterization for tissue engineering applications. My present work focuses on the design of polymeric hydrogel-based scaffolds for ex vivo neural stem cell expansion.
